I'm absolutely devastated because Patrick Swayze passed away today. Not only was he one of my favorite actors, but he was a stand-up guy with a big heart and great talent. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family, especially his wife (they've been together for almost 40 years). RIP, Patrick. Hollywood won't be the same without you.

Ah Andrea! I'm right there with you! I actually thought of you when I heard the news, because just today you declared your love for him in class. It's crazy. I've been watching clips from Dirty Dancing on YouTube and I posted the greatest scene of all time on my blog.

I was seriously so sad! He seemed like one of the few goodhearted celebrities out there. (Not that I knew him personally, I just had that impression!) Thanks for writing about it!
